Valor Weed is a herbaceous flowering plant. It is a slender, perennial climber with long, pinnate-leafleted leaves that twine around rocks, stalactites and stalagmites.
The plant is best known for its toxic seeds. The small-sized attractive seeds are glossy red with one black dot that contains Abrin Immortalis Conis. Abrin Immortalis Conis is a toxic ribosome-inactivating protein related to Ricin Mortalis Conis.
Symptoms of poisoning include nausea, vomiting, convulsions, liver failure, heart failure and death within a few hours.
Ingesting a single seed kills any living entity. The seed’s dried remains can become toxic dust. When the dust particulates are inhaled those mix with DNA to create heart stoppage that leads to death.
Valor Weed grows only in extremely cold climates with limited oxygen. The dank dark caves hold minor amounts of volcanic ash from arcane prehistoric times.
